Antwerp—September 2008. Seatrade Reefer Chartering N.V., the world’s largest operator of fully refrigerated vessels, has selected Ultimate Shipping Solutions (USS) for the optimization of its containerized and break bulk cargo processes. Primarily the new subsidiary Streamlines will be implemented.

Seatrade’s most important goal is to get closer control on container costs like storage, handlings and repairs and demurrage revenues, which all are real time calculated in USS. Through the integration according Seatrade’s business rules of container control with full and empty bookings , transport and documentation, the accuracy of cost calculation in USS is assured.

Further  selection criteria were the strong financial management, the user friendliness and the integrated web platform which contribute highly to the adoption of the system within the Seatrade organization.
